Be a Family Group Leader
Do you love kids? Are you a pro at goofy songs, fun crafts, and sharing the love of Jesus? Do you want to invest in the life of Kindergarten to 5th graders? This is the perfect place for you! No experience necessary.
Provide a Meal
Attention all cooks! Families, Can Do Kids and leaders end the evening together by sharing a meal. Opportunities are available to provide the meal, serve the meal, or financially contribute to a meal fund.
Reading Buddies is an academic enrichment opportunity for students in 3rd to 5th grade. Ways to lead include...
Be a Buddy! Adults are needed to read, play games, and help students with homework. This is a weekly, relational opportunity that is a lot of fun! No need to be proficient in new-math or core curriculum... the kids will teach you!
Lead a "special"! Every week the students and Buddies will learn a new skill, do an art project, cook a meal, or any other variety of activities. Bring a skill you have and lead the crew in doing something that is special to you!

Be a Facilitator
GLO is always looking for sable adults who can make a 6-12 month commitment to coming to GLO on Wednesday evenings and/or for special events.
Be a Mentors -
Want to go deeper with students? Excited to meet with a student individually or in a small group? Be a mentor! This is a step deeper into relationship from Facilitator - and is an adult who truly invests in a particular student's life on a regular basis.

Are you a computer wiz? Do you have skills in resume building, job applications, or tutoring? The NNCC Computer Lab needs you!
Computer Set-up & Maintenance: Highly skilled individuals needed to assist in setting up the computer lab, maintaining computers, and assisting in network development.
Lab Staff: Volunteers needed to hang out during lab hours, help with simple computer tasks, and build relationships with those using the lab.
Computer Skills: Share your gifts of resume building, Microsoft Word and Excell, or other skills with neighbors through individual and group tutoring.
